The fourth meeting of the project partners in Haparanda

The fourth meeting started with an ensemble music. The project participants have listened to jazz, blues music during a lesson. This was an open lesson, which was carried out by Janne Posti. In this group of ensemble there were sounds of keyboards, vocal, percussion and an electric guitar.

Later on the project participants went to a concert, which was at Svefi cafe. The performers of the concert were two students with special needs - Sanna (piano) and Ville (vocal). They have presented a few Swedish and Finnish folk songs, though the first song that they have chosen, was the famous "You raise me up" by Josh Groban.

After the concert the participants visited the church of Haparanda. This church features a modern, contemporary design, great acoustics. The visitors listened to church music and history. They have also participated in traditional Thursday lunch of the church. For the funds raised, the church implements activities for children, teenagers, youth.

Afterwards there was a meeting at the Haparanda city municipality. They mayor of the city Sven Tornberg together with a journalist Anita Lundstrom welcomed the guests. The cities of Haparanda and Tornio were represented.

Later the project partners from Alytus had a dinner with Svefi's principal Marie Järvinen, Katarina Persson and other teachers. It was highly interesting to communicate and have dinner at the library, to talk about a ghost that lives at Svefi. Afterwards there was a fire show - it was wonderful!
